Faithlab designs beautiful websites that are affordable, easy to update and help tell your story. We understand the unique needs of churches and non-profits.
Your website is often the first place people go to learn about your church or organization. Faithlab provides flat-price service (not hourly fees) for website development, so you know what the full project will cost up-front.
At the start of the project, a Faithlab team member will host a meeting to ask key questions about the unique mission and ministries of your church or org. Features such as forms, calendar and giving are discussed.
Your input continues as we then propose a sitemap (organization of menus/pages) and a homepage and interior page design. Once approved, we develop the rest of the site pages and features.
Many churches also ask Faithlab to create a new logo or a mobile iOS and Android) app as part of their project.

The Faithlab team delivered our project in a timely and affordable manner. Their team went out of their way to make sure we were getting everything we needed, and their process gave our organization complete peace of mind during this endeavor.
I am so very thankful for the efforts your team has put into helping this site feel like Westwood. I imagine that is the challenge for each website—helping each, while having many of the same elements, feel unique to each church family. Well done!
Website Freqently Asked Questions
How long does it usually take to develop a new website?
Usually a new site takes around 3 months to develop. Because we require approval at various steps along the way before moving forward (sitemap, homepage design, etc.) and because we rely on the client to provide text and form for the site, delays in getting those to us will extend the development timeframe.
What about email service?
While Faithlab does not offer our own email service, we can help setup your church or organization with a great system from Google, Fastmail or other services.
We aren’t sure about best practices. Do you offer consulting?
We consult with all of our clients around best practices as needed. If we are asked to do something we feel is not a best practice, we will also alert you and offer an alternative.
Can we keep our current domain name?
Yes! Assuming you still have ownership of that domain name, it can be used for your new site. We will ask for your domain name hosting login early in the project. Faithlab can also help obtain new domain names where needed.
How do we get great photos for our site?
Faithlab has a church photography guide we are happy to share with clients. It provides tips, techniques and a shoot list the kinds of photos to capture.
“I am so glad our congregation decided to work with FaithLab. They spent time in our space asking questions and getting to know us and our context. Their experience and expertise working with churches like ours helped us to highlight our uniqueness and come up with an appealing logo, brand, and website consistent with our vision and commitment to our community.”
“I have worked with Faithlab on several ventures over five years from websites to global mission communities. They are creative, faithful to their word, easy to work with, responsive to inquiries, and diligent in their delivery of what they have agreed to do. Besides David’s extensive vocational expertise and the marvelous team he has pulled together at Faithlab, he also is a person of faith and an active church member. Thus he knows, understands and “gets church.” He is helpful in knowing what communicates to the church congregants as well as has a genuine love for the ministers with whom he works. You will not only be very pleased in what you receive in this arrangement but also find yourself with a new friend.”
